We are seeking a skilled, motivated, and organized maintenance technician at our apartment community in Columbus, OH. Most of the duties center around processing turnovers and fulfilling maintenance requests. The ability to live onsite is available and preferred but not necessary.
Your skill set should include general knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, drywall repair, painting, and carpentry. You should be well organized and have a solid maintenance background. You must possess a valid drivers license and have your own vehicle, preferably a truck for hauling materials. You must have most of your own tools.
Work hours are flexible, and may change slightly due to seasonal demand. Pay will be $20+ per hour based on experience. Minimum two years' experience in residential maintenance and turnover procedure.
You will be considered a 1099 sub-contractor, responsible for your own insurance, taxes, workers compensation, etc. Part-time or full-time available.
Job Responsibilities
Complete resident work orders correctly in a timely manner.
Perform apartment turnovers quickly and with quality.
Be available for emergency purposes, 24 hours a day, on call in the case of emergency.
Maintain and repair electrical, plumbing, appliances, drywall/painting, roofing, flooring, drains, pest control,
HVAC systems repair, and grounds maintenance.
