TOP Consulting is looking for a Change Management Lead to join our team. Successful candidates will be able to focus on the people side of change, including changes to business processes, systems, and technology as well as job roles and organization structures. A key function of this role is to create and implement change plans that maximize stakeholder adoption and minimize resistance, driving adoption and proficiency of the changes within the organization.
In addition, this role will possess a solid understanding of business and technical domains and will engage with stakeholders to understand desired outcomes. The position will identify obvious and hidden issues associated with managing the roll out of a WMS/Ecommerce Project.

Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Develop strong working relationships, influence individuals at all levels of the organization to drive change, build trust and become an advocate for their needs
  • Create and implement change management approach and plans, leveraging industry standard methodology to ensure successful planning and delivery
  • Coordinate with project management to incorporate business analysis and change management approach and plans into overall project plan
  • Lead change management activities partnering with cross functional team members and stakeholders to understand, manage and reinforce change throughout transformation life-cycle to ensure buy-in and adoption of the change
  • Create actionable change management deliverables including but not limited to:
    • Stakeholder analysis and management plans
    • Change impact and readiness assessments
    • Roadmaps for sponsor and managers
    • Resistance and risk management plans and tactics
    • Support communication, training and coaching plan and efforts
    • Success measurements that monitor change progress and reinforce
  • Maintain a solid understanding of organizational change management, incorporating best practices as they emerge
  • Understand the current operational state and use this knowledge to develop a sustainable future operational state that addresses the business problem
  • Define, prioritize, and maintain business requirements and business rules to efficiently deliver meaningful requirements; may include formal business requirements, involvement in technical specifications, use case diagrams, process workflows, process maps, role definition and business readiness plans
  • Accurately screen and compare requirements based on how well they satisfy sometimes competing objectives across the enterprise
  • Work closely with the project manager, project sponsor, communications, training, HR and operational support management to ensure smooth project delivery and hand-off to support functions
  • Solid leadership, influencing and relationship management skills; ability to align interests across the enterprise and drive collaboration among groups
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills, with demonstrated experience in:
    • Large scale projects/program
    • Implementing and operationalizing software and process solutions
    • Working with multiple sets of stakeholders across enterprise
    • Organizing and facilitating effective meetings
    • Planning and executing change management approaches and plans including but not limited to stakeholder analysis, impact analysis, change readiness and resistance, training and input into communication plans
    • Facilitating input gathering from subject matter experts and using excellent active listening skills to capture business requirements and change impacts
    • Process mapping, process maturing, and process improvement, process flow charting a large complex technology environment, use case maps and understanding of process architecture
    • Effectively presenting information for discussion (change impacts, use cases, process maps, requirement reviews, solution considerations, business readiness plans, issues) across diverse audiences, including higher levels within the business
    • Collaborative analysis and problem-solving capabilities, influencing and negotiating with multiple stakeholder communities with sometimes conflicting priorities and needs
    • Ability to quickly understand key technologies and how users interface with them
    • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple activities in a dynamic environment; strong multitasking and organizational skills
    • Acute business acumen and understanding of organizational issues and challenges

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of Change Management experience
  • 3+ years of Retail experience required
  • Prosci Certified
  • Ecommerce Experienced Required
  • WMS/OMS Experience Required
  • Manhattan Experience Preferred
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or Computer Science
