QUALIFICATIONS:
The Account Manager is positive, energetic, self-motivated and persistent. They are outgoing, confident, passionate and have a persevering attitude. The team can count on the Manager to be honest and willing to make mistakes. The Manager displays the core values of Stafford: Accountable, Curious, Ethical, and Driven. Finally, it is important for the Manager to have a proven track record in business development and recruiting.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
1. Set meetings with current and future clients
2. Build relationships with potential clients
3. Work within a structured sales process
4. Generate new leads
5. Qualify and manage open job orders with our clients
6. Help clients define critical requirements
7. Work collaboratively with internal teams (recruiting, management, support staff)
8. Manage client expectations effectively
9. Close business
10. Create and manage a daily schedule
11. Meet and exceed weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual goals
12. Become highly knowledgeable with our IT consulting, staffing and recruiting services offered
13. Speak and understand the technical language with clients and staff
SPECIFICATIONS:
Required:
Minimum 2+ years of experience in an outside B2B sales role that includes cold calling and face to face client interaction
Professional communication skills (verbal, written and electronic)
Ability to work M-F 8-5:30 weekly available to attend 2-3 evening networking events per month
Desired:
Conceptual understanding of IT Infrastructure and Application Development environments
IT sales and recruiting experience
Negotiation experience
Background in an IT-related service industry in Central Ohio
Understanding of Consulting, Recruiting and Staffing industry
Proven success and stability in commission incentivized sales role
