Hummavore is a fresh hummus producer in our fourth year of business. We mix unique and culturally-defining flavors with sustainable sourcing to bring the best hummus to your table. We primarily use organic, non-gmo, and local ingredients and feature a number of seasonal flavors as well.
This job would be working one of our booths in Columbus at either the Worthington or Clintonville farmers market each Saturday morning.
It would run from April 27th through November 23rd. There would be some training involved and then you may be in charge of the booth or work alongside someone else. You would drive your vehicle to the site, setup, sell to customers at the market, tear down, and send any remaining hummus back with our main Columbus person.
Were looking for people who can engage with folks at the market, set-up and rotate the samples, and get excited to share our fresh hummus with other people! You would also need a cell phone to run the Square app for taking cards at the market and be able to transport market equipment in your vehicle.
Qualifications:
MUST be able to work Saturday mornings.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
Must enjoy hummus and chatting with people.
Some sales experience preferred, but not required.
Must be dependable, reliable and trustworthy.
Must have a car or someone who can transport you and all the booth equipment each Saturday.
MUST have a cell phone.
If this is working well, there would be the potential to pick up some extra markets on Tuesdays and Wednesday at other farmers markets in the Columbus area.
