Metro Fitness Sunbury is seeking candidates for a Part Time Fitness Supervisor. $10-$15/hour + Commissions (DOQ).
Responsibilities Include:
- Opening and Closing
- Membership Sales/Renewals/Cancellations
- Daily Cleaning and Light Maintenance
- Assisting Patrons with Proper Machine Function
- All Other Regular Member Services Needs (Telephone Inquires and Member Calls, Monitoring Club Email, Paperwork and Admin Tasks, Etc.)
Required Qualifications/Abilities:
- High School Diploma
- Ability to work for extended periods with no direct supervision (50/50 sitting/standing).
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repetitively throughout a shift.
- Positive attitude and willingness to engage with patrons.
- Ability to speak conversationally on a variety of subjects and converse knowledgeably on the subject of health and wellness.
- Must have daily reliable transportation to Sunbury.
- Must be a available on a varied schedule of days, evenings and weekends, schedule TBD.
- Likeability and a Warm Personality is a MUST
Minimum Preferred Qualifications:
- Fitness Operations Experience
- Some College Level Coursework in Fitness/Recreation/Sport Management or Related Area of Study
- Customer Service Experience
- Retail Keyholder Experience
- MS Office Proficiency
