Job Title: Electronic Device Repair Technician
Â
Job Summary: Diagnoses and performs repairs on electronic devices, primarily smart phones, tablets and gaming systems.
Â
Store Hours: Mon-Sat 10-7, Sun 11-5Â
Â
Duties & Responsibilities:
Â
- Perform routine inspection, testing and repair of smart phones and other mobile devices.
- Accurately document repairs and parts information on repair tracking documents / work orders and in our point-of-sale computer tracking system.
- Read and translate repair documents and videos. Share experiences and learning's with other technicians.
- Perform high quality repairs and refurbishment of electronic devices: phones/tablets/laptops/GPSs/ etc.
- Monitor parts inventories and inform management of status.
- Dismantle old electronic devices for OEM parts.
- Interact with customers as needed, providing exceptional customer service.
- Keep work area clean and sterile.
- Maintain a clean and professional showroom, storefront and restroom.
- Ability to work retail hours, which may include weekends, holidays and some overtime.
- Perform other duties as required by management.

BasicÂSkills/Qualifications:
Â
- High School diploma or GED/equivalent certification required.
- Must be 18 years of age or older and have own transportation.
- One year of customer service and/or retail experience.
- Honesty and Integrity -- the number one requirement for the job.
- The ability to read, write and communicate in English in order to read and comprehend assembly manuals and process documentation.
- Must have iPhone, iPad, Android smart phone and Android tablet repair experience!! Do not apply if you do not have this background.
- Basic computer skills. Comfortable navigating in Windows, iOS, and Android operating systems.
- Enjoy working on electronic gadgets -- we will train you on the procedures and processes.
- Troubleshooting and assembly skills.
- Excellent technical, problem solving, and analytical skills.
- Sales experience and an interest in selling and a desire to learn sales techniques.

PreferredÂSkills/Qualifications:
Â
- Experience with PCs in a Windows operating system, MS Office and web-based applications.
- Assembly and cosmetic mobile device refurbishment experience.
- Surface-mount soldering experience a huge plus.
