Job Summary
The Test Technician (Bench) will perform verification testing, troubleshooting, and analysis on circuit boards and assemblies related to uninterruptible power systems (UPS) and other power electronic equipment. This role involves hands-on testing of inverters, rectifiers, chargers, static switches, and AC regulators to ensure product functionality and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
Perform testing and troubleshooting using standard electrical meters and test instruments.
Work with UPS equipment including inverters, rectifiers, chargers, and associated systems.
Conduct verification testing on circuit boards and assemblies.
Interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and assembly prints.
Perform basic circuit analysis and documentation.
Execute additional testing or assembly tasks as required.
Minimum Qualifications
Education: Associate degree, diploma, or certificate in Electronics Engineering Technology, or equivalent military/industry experience.
Experience: 5+ years in power electronics, with hands-on work involving 480 VAC 3-phase and 240 VDC systems.
Strong understanding of DC/AC principles and electrical theory.
Desired Skills
Proficiency with multimeters, oscilloscopes, component testers, and digital test instruments.
Skilled in soldering (through-hole and SMT) and electromechanical assembly.
Comfortable reading schematics, wiring diagrams, and parts lists.
