Growing paint and wall coverings company is looking for experienced crews. We are a premier design and installation company specializing in creating stunning, transformative accent walls for clients throughout the Columbus, Ohio area. Our passion is bringing style and personality to every space we enter. We pride ourselves on meticulous craftsmanship and outstanding customer service, and we are looking for 1-2 professional crews to join our bench of sub-contractors that we can partner with when work has been awarded.
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Wallpaper Installer to be the hands-on expert for our projects. As a crew lead, you will be working directly in customers' homes, responsible for the precise and flawless installation of various types of wallcoverings. The ideal candidate is a motivated, timely, and professional craftsperson who takes immense pride in their work and understands the importance of a perfect finish.
Key Responsibilities:
- Travel to various job sites within the greater Columbus area.
- Prepare wall surfaces for installation, which may include removing old wall paper, cleaning, minor patching, and priming.
- Accurately measure, cut, and install traditional (un-pasted and pre-pasted) wallpaper, ensuring precise pattern matching and alignment.
- Expertly apply peel and stick wallpaper for a smooth, bubble-free, and seamless finish.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful work environment within our clients' homes.
- Communicate professionally with clients on-site to ensure their expectations are met and exceeded.
- Manage time effectively to complete projects within the estimated timeframe.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proven experience in professional wallpaper installation
- Demonstrable expertise with both traditional (pasted) wallpaper and peel and stick materials
- An exceptional eye for detail, with a focus on quality, precision, and craftsmanship
- Strong sense of cleanliness, professionalism, and excellent customer service skills
- Punctual, reliable, and self-motivated with the ability to work independently
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel to job sites
Must have your own basic tools of the trade
