Description:
TDS invests in the newest, state of the art equipment to create our custom fabrications. The Granite/Quartz Countertop Operator position produces the countertops for these custom designs. The Granite/Quartz Countertop Operator runs their machine safely and efficiently, in a clean and organized work space and ensures these products are created safely, accurately and on time. This position has knowledge of the machines, the products, and knowing how to organize projects in the order of priority.
The Granite/Quartz Countertop Operator position is a vital part of TDS’s success, as countertops are often the first thing noticed, in a kitchen, office or retail store. They ensure that every countertop created at TDS leaves the warehouse in perfect condition and made to exceed the customers’ expectations.
Duties:
- Produce high quality countertops
- Ability to operate GMM Bridge Saw and Northwood CNC machines
- Ability to polish multiple edge finishes
- Ability to seam stone together
- Ability to seam and polish mitered edges
- Ability to carry 250+ lbs
- Understand that safety comes first
