Construction Carpenter
Job Description

PRIMARY PURPOSE: Assist Superintendent with any needs on the job that may require basic - finish carpentry skills.
TYPICAL DUTIES:
Performs a variety of tasks involving dexterous use of hands and tools
Door, Frame, and Hardware
In-wall Reinforcement and Blocking
Bathroom and Kitchen Accessories
Framing and Drywall patching
Basic Masonry and Concrete patching
Maintains a clean jobsite by sweeping, eliminating trash, moving and organizing jobsite materials
Performs miscellaneous other duties and responsibilities as required
Adheres to all safety regulations and procedures
REQUIREMENTS:
- Have a Valid Driver's License & reliable transportation.
- Pass a background check, pre-employment and random drug tests.
- Follow specific instruction and perform a variety of duties that change often.
- Repeat tasks of short duration according to set procedures.
- Work within standard of accuracy, and evaluate information using measurable standards.
- Physically:
o Must be able to stand and walk for long periods;
o Use arms and hands to reach for handle and manipulate objects;
o Lift and carry materials weighing 100 pounds;
o Climb up and down ladders, scaffolding and other objects
o Stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, see and hear (naturally or with correction).
- Education:
o High school diploma preferred
o Previous job experience in commercial construction required
PERSONAL TOOLS REQUIRED:
- Steel Toe Work Boots
- Hand Tools necessary for basic - finish carpentry
