Job Description

SUMMARY: This Enterprise level role is responsible for providing business/finance leaders with the analysis and information to review Company performance, provide insight to potential future opportunities/obstacles, and to support general financial analysis to enable an improved understanding of business/industry trends.

Leverage existing available data, manage multiple sources/systems of data, ensuring data completeness and driving consolidation of data and improving processes are key areas of focus. Working closely with the CFO and FP&A Director, however cross Company support/partnering will be key in enabling us to better understand, model, digest and predict our future business performance.

OBJECTIVES:

  • Timely preparation and delivery of required financial reports & performance metrics
  • Ensure transparency and understanding of key data is optimized throughout the Enterprise
  • Continue to compile data and help to tell the story behind the Enterprise numbers – but now move into other more narrow business areas
  • Desire and willingness to “search” for business opportunities/weaknesses to highlight and bring to attention of management
  • Bring a “new lens” to the organization around presentation structure / format and delivering messages
  • Team player with internal customer centric attitude and ability to manage multiple initiatives/priorities

DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support FPA Director and Other Leaders on current & future initiatives, providing financial guidance as needed
  • Participate in preparation of Board Deck, Leadership meeting and other high visibility Presentation/activities
  • Investigate and create via technology ways to streamline and optimize existing tools/processes in place
  • Participate in the guidance, accumulation and preparation of Annual Budget and related Forecasts
  • Decision support to advise management on ways to improve performance, minimize risk or capture new opportunities either inside or outside the company

KEY RELATIONSHIPS:

  • FP&A Director
  • CFO and other members of Finance Leadership Team
  • Other business leaders

Qualifications

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Candidate will ideally have 5-8 years of total experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Statistics, Accounting or related field
  • A combination of public accounting and industry experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Tools
  • Knowledge of FASB and GAAP requirements
  • Manufacturing and Distribution industry experience
