We have an immediate opening for a full time Chief Financial Officer, (Monday-Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm). If you have a passion for excellence then we'd like to talk to you.
The Chief Financial Officer leads and manages the Accounting Department. This position manages/supervises employees in Accounting and is responsible for the overall direction, coordination and evaluation of this unit and carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
The responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Effective cash management through efficient working capital management and short term borrowing.
Supports Accounting Manager with credit and collections management of a diversified portfolio of customers, AP and AR activities.
Establishes and maintains relations with banks and other financial institutions.
Works with the President to process and direct corporate investments and OBM issues - including profit sharing, ESOP's, etc.
Supervises monthly close process.
Prepares financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
Designs and implements financial reports that meet the information needs of Company's management.
Completes special financial and analytical projects as assigned by the President.
Offers advice and analysis to the President.
Prefer a minimum of ten years or more of progressive experience in accounting within a manufacturing and/or distribution background, as well as, ERP and life sciences experience. CMA/CPA preferred.
