Ferco is looking for a qualified FPI Inspector to join our growing team.
FPI Inspector inspects inprocess aerospace components for accuracy under black light. The ideal team member will be a self-starter with proven experience working as an Inspector in the aerospace manufacturing sector. This position is a full time on 2nd shift and comes with a retention plan with increases.

Key Responsibilities:
⢠Perform non-destructive visual evaluation of surface defects of brazed, welded, and formed precision aerospace parts using fluorescent penetrant per applicable customer specifications.
⢠Clean and preparation of parts, followed by visual inspection under black light using fluorescent penetrant liquid.
⢠Must be able to work from complex and detailed blueprints and/or verbal and written instructions with minimal supervision.

⢠Other Ad hoc duties as required
Basic Qualifications:
⢠High School Diploma or GED required
⢠Current FPI Level II certification preferred
⢠Aerospace Industry experience preferred
Physical Demands
⢠Able to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time on a daily basis
⢠Able to bend, twist, turn, carry, walk, sit, stoop, kneel, etc
⢠Able to successfully pass vision screens
⢠Extended hours required during peak workloads or special projects.
Schedule:
⢠Training: Monday - Friday 6:00 am - 2:30 pm
⢠Regular: Monday - Friday 4:30 pm - 1 am + 10% shift differential
⢠With overtime possible daily and Saturdays
