We are looking to add a part-time experienced Office Manager to our rapidly growing team. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated with a diverse range of talents, including the ability to work independently, while also coordinating and communicating with the team. This role provides the right individual the opportunity to focus on both "people" and "technical" processes - keeping CANARY running happily and efficiently by providing the team with tools, resources, policies, and initiatives that enable good work. This is an in-office position, currently 20-25 hr./ week with the potential to grow into a full-time position.

Job Responsibilities - Developing and implementing new administration systems, such as records and database management - Creating, reviewing, updating and implementing various policies

- Handles inventory and ordering of office supplies, kitchen items, and other incidentals

- Runs major office projects, such as renovations, installations, and office design initiatives

- Manage contracts and negotiations with office vendors and service providers

- Manage office budgets, ensure accurate and timely reporting

- Maintains office equipment and troubleshoot when necessary

- Creates and presents reports as requested

- Plans and executes events

- Maintain office suite condition and arrange necessary repairs

Required Skills and Experience:

- Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college

- 1-2 year(s) professional work experience, preferably in an office management or administrative role

- Proficiency in MS Office and G-Suite

- Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Highly organized, with excellent time management skills as well as the ability to multi-task and prioritize work

- A creative mind with an ability to suggest new initiatives and improvements
