Tenet3 is seeking a Software Engineer focused on back-end development to join our team in Dayton, OH. As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for building the infrastructure to drive the capabilities of a visually exciting, high-performing, intuitive web application to solve challenging security problems.

Essential Job Duties
You will use AWS, Python, Django, and additional technologies to build a robust back-end infrastructure. You will:

• Develop, test, enhance, debug, and implement software
• Collaborate with the design and project teams on product specifications
• Configure applications according to design specifications
• Participate in peer reviews of code written by other developers
• Troubleshoot production problems related to software applications
• Participate in development of software documentation and user manuals
• Assist in the evaluation and recommendation of application software packages
• Assist in preparing estimates for implementing new system enhancements

Skills/Qualifications

• Eligibility to establish and maintain a Department of Defense Top Secret security clearance
• Technology experience in: PYTHON, DJANGO, and AWS services preferred; alternative languages include but not limited to RUST, GO
• Experience with continuous integration and deployment
• 5 + years of Production Software Engineering Experience
• Ability to take ownership of features and stories and drive them through from discovery to release
• Understanding of computer science fundamentals (data structures and algorithms)
• Ability to communicate design processes, ideas, and solutions clearly and effectively
• Communicate professionally and effectively to teams and clients
• Experience designing, creating, and interacting with APIs (REST, SOAP or GraphQL)
• Experience with API Gateways is preferred
• Experience with AWS is preferred

Education/Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics or a similar discipline is preferred. Equivalent alternative experience and education are considered.

Salary Range
$80k - $120k (paid relocation available)
Remote location possible depending on experience and expertise.
