Johns Manville is currently seeking qualified applicants for the position of Process Engineer. This position will be involved in all process engineering aspects for a fiber glass manufacturing plant and must be willing to work in a collaborative environment to improve efficiencies and reduce costs. Emphasis on safety and environmental compliance are important in our work environment. The Defiance, Ohio locations produce cured and uncured fiberglass products that serve the automotive, aerospace, OEM, air handling and pipe & mechanical markets. Your Day-to-Day: Work with operators to develop, improve and monitor key procedures Identify process and equipment limitations to debottleneck where appropriate Seek, recognize, define and solve to determine root cause and implement corrective actions Process optimization and troubleshooting the manufacturing process Developing projects and project justifications What You Bring to the Team: BS in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Ceramic or relevant field) 3 + years experience. Working experience in a similar role, processing engineering in a continuous operation setting Ability to be on call to support a 24/7 operation Experience in data analysis and computer applications systems Strong communication skills, both written and oral Experience in manufacturing facility safety and quality programs Experience with lean manufacturing Ability to work with extended hours as necessary to complete work assignments Benefits With Johns Manville you can take pride in helping our team to deliver products that make a difference in the markets that we serve.
