Job Description

Role Summary/Purpose:

The Channel Operations Leader owns the digital software and MarTech suite within Channel and the strategy, implementation, and lifecycle management. In this role, you will optimize the digital automation tools and implement process improvements that will increase channel partner engagement and yield greater ROMI. This role reports to the Sr. Marketing Manager – Channel Growth and will partner closely with the channel team, collaborate with the greater marketing organization, and establish cross-functional relationships that drive success in our channel marketing programs.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Manage the overall marketing content and maintenance across the MarTech infrastructure but is not limited to BrandMuscle, The Lighting Exchange, FedEx.com, Salesforce.com Community to improve ease of doing business and channel partner engagement
  • Monitor trends and identify channel technology gaps that will drive efficiency, increased departmental productivity and faster deployment across channel partners
  • Administer and support the fulfillment of promotions in conjunction with establishing clear metrics to analyze, measure and track performance
  • Own the disposition of slow-moving inventory process (Clearance Marketplace) and working cross-functionally with Supply Chain, Operations and Pricing functions to leverage marketing tools to raise awareness and increase sell-through
  • Collaborate with Training & Commercial Ops teams to deploy user-experience training sessions for our channel partners on new and existing enhancement features across the MarTech platform
  • Support ecommerce growth in partnership with Sales Operations teams to ensure all PIM data, content and digital assets are up to date to improve the overall customer experience and increase the virtual cart revenue stream
  • Provide logistics support and execution of all regional events to drive traffic and increase engagement
  • Identify and articulate emerging MarTech trends and areas for successful growth.
  • Ensure continuous gathering and reporting of competitive intelligence and market movement.
  • Simplification and marketing champion who always is looking for better and easier ways for our channel partners to interact and transact with us.

Qualifications

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Current will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college; Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) or Marketing, preferred
  • Minimum of 4-6 years of marketing experience; LED/Lighting industry preferred.
  • Direct Channel Operations experience and working knowledge of Salesforce.com Community or other MarTech platforms preferred
  • Must be consummate team player with excellent interpersonal skills able to develop relationships, develop team, and influence at all levels and across cultures, including with customers and industry organization
  • Track record of deploying MarTech solutions and training programs with channel partners for quick adoption
  • Strong ecommerce background working directly with agents and distributors on marketing projects
  • Logical thinking and ability to balance long-term strategic viewpoint with tactical execution
  • Outstanding communication skills , strong analytical and reporting acumen with ability to create dashboards for improved decision-making using SAP, Excel Analytics, OneStream and Tableau or other Analytics tools preferred
  • Demonstrated skills in managing multiple projects successfully
  • Experience working in a matrix organization
