Job Description

Role Purpose/Summary:

Own Fulfillment metrics for product line and manages FG inventory levels to meet fill rate targets. Proactively communicate to commercial team potential risks to meeting customer requirements. Proactively lead cross functional teams when faced with issues that may prevent product shipping on schedule.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Closely collaborate with Project Management and Sales Team to ensure proper inventory plan and ramp up to support key projects
  • Lead cross functional teams to resolve issues that may prevent product shipment
  • Manage expectations on product availability and communicate clear ship schedules
  • Support NPI launches by developing SC model and stocking strategy and leading transition of next generation product launches to minimize obsolescence while meeting service targets
  • Effectively weigh trade-offs on inventory and service to support Major and Mega project opportunities
  • Align SC model and stocking strategy to support demand plan
  • Ensure solid collaboration with demand planner to translate forecast into material replenishment plan
  • Coordinate production priorities with manufacturing plants and key vendors to meet customer expectations
  • Communicate clear ship schedules with domestic and international internal customers and coordinate shipment priorities with DC
  • Drive simplification and standardization through existing SC processes, SAP, and BI reporting
  • Set and maintain master data in SAP and IBP
  • Manage suppliers of sourced finished goods to support orders, forecast, and inventory targets
  • Evaluate and manage expedite requests from commercial team
  • Provide guidance to customer service team regarding sales order issues
  • Provide work direction and training to other support personnel

Qualifications

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in technical or business discipline from an accredited university or college with
  • A minimum of three (3) years’ experience in Materials Planning & Execution (or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of seven (7) years of experience in Materials Planning & Execution)
  • Ability and willingness to travel as required

Desired Characteristics:

  • 5 years previous experience in fulfillment roles
  • 5 years experience using MRP System, SAP/IBP experience preferred
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing
  • Experience in electronics manufacturing industry
  • Experience working with Asian vendors
  • Proven ability to lead cross functional teams and drive resolution to meet supply chain deliverables
  • Ability to articulate responses in a concise manner and target the message based on the audience
  • Must exhibit a customer focused, high energy and aggressive approach to issues
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks at any given time
  • Ability to prioritize work load independently based on business needs
  • Ability to influence others and lead small teams
  • Lead initiatives of moderate scope and impact
  • Possess strong interpersonal and teaming skills with the ability to interact, build and maintain strong relationships with our direct team, cross functional teams, customers and all levels of management
