The Cincinnati Insurance Companies is looking for a Microsoft O365 Unified Communications and Collaboration (UCC) Systems Engineer. The ideal candidate will have broad Microsoft O365 experience with emphasis on Skype for Business/Microsoft Teams enterprise deployments. You will work closely with IT and business partners to design and deliver solutions across Microsoft Exchange Online, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint Online, and Azure Active Directory. You will also coordinate with our Enterprise Voice Engineers for Teams integration with on-premises SBCs. All work will be done with technical guidance from a team lead and architect.

Starting salary\:

$60,000 and up



Be ready to\:



  • provide system support relating to technical issues involving Microsoft's core O365 business applications including Teams, Azure AD, and Exchange Online.
  • execute migration and configuration of Microsoft Teams from a Skype for Business on-prem environment.
  • implement auto-attendants, dial plans, voicemail, and resource group features within Microsoft Teams.
  • assist with automation and scripting of team processes via Microsoft Powershell and Power Automate.

  • participate in on-call and after-hours support rotation for UCC services.
  • engage and collaborate with correct IT organizations while troubleshooting and resolving production incidents.
  • prioritize tasks and work semi-independently on weekly objectives.

Qualification:

Be equipped with\:


  • Professional experience or relevant education involving Microsoft Teams voice and Office 365 services.
  • Professional experience in an O365 or UCC technology position.
  • Familiarity with basic DNS, DCHP, TCP/IP, routing & switching, and subnetting concepts.
  • Basic understanding of PKI concepts and x509 certificates.

  • Experience with administration and operation of production IT systems in medium to large organizations.
  • Familiarity with ITIL concepts in a professional setting and experience with enterprise service management software.
  • Professional experience with Skype for Business 2016.
  • Professional experience with Skype to Teams migration.
  • Understanding of voice technologies\: TDM, SIP, QoS, SBC, Codecs, Voice Recording and general IPT
  • Strong ability for scripting/automation using Powershell.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.

Experience with the following is good but not required\:


  • Experience with Microsoft SharePoint Online and OneDrive.
  • Experience with enterprise PBX and/or VoIP systems.
  • Experience with Mobile Device Management (MDM) or Mobile Application Management (MAM) solutions such as MobileIron, BlackBerry UEM, Airwatch, Microsoft Intune, etc.
  • Experience with SAML SSO solutions, specifically via Active Directory Federation Servers or Azure Identity.
  • Working knowledge Office-365 and Microsoft Collaboration suites and experience in managing or administering Collaboration Technologies

  • Bachelor's degree or greater, preferably in Information Systems, Information Technology, or Computer Science. Relevant Microsoft experience and education with professional practiceaccepted in lieu of college degree.
