Process Engineering (Chemical) Intern - Summer 2020DescriptionOn a global scale, Jacobs Engineering servesthe PharmaBio, Aerospace, Buildings & Infrastructure, Water Systems, andConsumer Products Industries. Our core Life Sciences network has become thelargest provider of engineering and construction services to pharmaceutical andbiotechnology clients in the world. Jacobs provides full-service engineering,procurement, and construction management services to both new and existingfacilities. For projects of every scale, we provide design, engineering,construction, commissioning, and maintenance services that support a facility'sentire life cycle.Position Summary:This position is for a process (chemical) engineeringintern in our Cincinnati office.
Interns will work with processengineers in assisting them executing projects for our various clients.
Work could be in the pharmaceutical, biotech, microelectronics, or chemicalindustries.
Some tasks may include elementary process calculations,CADDing of drawings, maintaining equipment/line lists, creating flow diagrams, and coordinating with other disciplines.
Interns will havethe opportunity to participate in a summer “project” with the other interns ofother disciplines in order to simulate higher level tasks that are performed aspart of our business.
Qualifications
Engineering student working towards a BS or MS in Chemical Engineering at an accredited university.
Prior internship experience, especially in thepharmaceutical industry, is desirable, but not required.
Will consider all years, but 3rd year or furtheris most desirable.
