RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Grove City, OH that is seeking a Lead Software Engineer/Solutions Architect for a remote position.

REQUIREMENTS:
Solution Design & Project Architect with experience taking a technical concept and formulating a technical solution, and determining how that solution should be implemented
Experience architecting/designing solutions and systems, configuring, implementing, etc.
Understanding of the functionality of these systems, dependencies, issues, etc.
Need someone who can analyze/assess different systems and determine the best approach to take
Need to be able to look at message structures, how to tie systems together, how to model data, etc.
Previous development experience (little-to-no hands-on coding in this role)
Good communication and leadership skills - detail orientated and experience with business interaction, etc.
Experience working with a mix of internal and 3rd party vendors and partnering (and partnering with those vendors to implement technical solutions & integrations as well as coordinating design and delivery activities across multiple parties)
Experience in retail, logistics, transportation, parcel carrier domains - or a strong track record of learning new industries, interest in the logistics space, and curious about the transportation side (how shipping works)
Prior experience with ProShip or other carrier compliance/carrier selection solutions would be a plus
