Description

You're the perfect candidate for this job if you excel at coming up with creative solutions to technical issues. Robert Half is seeking a Help Desk Analyst to accommodate field users in an ever-changing, active environment with a company in the Retail field. If you have strong problem-solving skills and a passion for making effective change within an organization, this may be the Help Desk Analyst position for you. This Help Desk Analyst role is located in the Hudson, Ohio area and is a long-term contract / temporary opportunity.

Responsibilities

- Spot recurring technical issues and deploy solutions to address the root of the problems

- Offer IT support for operating systems, productivity software, and a variety of other applications used internally

- Respond and follow up on technical help tickets submitted via phone, email, and walk-ups

- Independently investigate and implement solutions to technical issues

Requirements

- Background in user administration and bug fixing in a client server environment

- Practical knowledge in installing and configuring operating systems, networked and local printers, and business applications

- 2+ years of prior experience

- Firm grasp of basic networking concepts

- Creative problem solver who anticipates risks and opportunities and maintains a vision for continuous improvement

- Network Troubleshooting experience highly desired

- Trouble Tickets experience

- Quality experience with customer service

- Practical knowledge of Phone System

- General familiarity with Basic Network Troubleshooting

- Well-founded grasp of Basic Troubleshooting

- Wide ranging experience with Call Center Customer Service

- Earlier work involving Resolve Customer Service

- Proven knowledge of Hardware Troubleshooting

- Comprehensive knowledge of Basic Network Troubleshooting

- Strong familiarity with Network Troubleshooting

- Command of Basic Troubleshooting

- Experience with IT support ticketing systems
