IT Field Support Specialist! 6-Month Contract to Hire! On-site position NOT Remote Location: Independence OH
You will be working with school faculty, corporate leaders and IT vendors on the design, implementation and support of school technology that will be used in both a traditional school campus and a blended online environment. This position requires you to provide professional hands on work and friendly phone support as well. The selected individual will need strong problem resolution skills as well as the ability to multi task.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Collaborating with school leaders, on departmental and school projects.
Working remotely with corporate IT department on resolving onsite issues.
Timely completion of technical support tickets.
Performs necessary servicing and preventative maintenance of all IT equipment.
Managing inventory of all IT assets.
Provide computer training and ongoing support for staff members.
Assisting in the operation and maintenance of the student instruction technology and third party IT vendors.
Presents and maintains a professional image at all times.
SOFTWARE & HARDWARE KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:
Autotask
MS Office products.
Chromebook and Apple devices
Creating and deploying desktop images.
Active Directory
VPN
Wireless Access Points
Network Printers & Scanners
Remote Desktop Support (TeamViewer/ MS Teams/ Autotask DaaS)
Online Educational State Testing
REQUIRED SKILLS:
A+ Certification or equivalent experience servicing PC hardware and software.
Bachelor Degree or Associate's Degree in Computer Science or Computer Information Systems preferred
Two or more years related field service experience.
Excellent communication, organizational and technical phone skills.
Pay Rate: $19+/hr. On-site position NOT Remote Location: Independence OH
