In this role, you will be responsible for Managing twenty to thirty Production Operators including scheduling, performance reviews, training and development. To be considered for this role, you will have a Associate’s or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, manufacturing Engineering,or a technical school diploma and three to five years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment(machining, welding, assembly for automotive). Experience in the automotive industry is strongly preferred. Managing twenty to thirty Production Operators including
Scheduling, performance reviews, training and development.
Meeting production schedules and addressing abnormal conditions.
Making quick and impactful decisions in the areas of safety, quality,
and productivity.
Communicating relentlessly with all levels of the organization.
Qualifications
Two to four college degree preferred, however supervisory experience coupled with hands-on work experience in a automotive manufacturing operation which would include, machining, assembly, welding, automation
Three+ years supervisory experience in a manufacturing operation
Previous manufacturing experience (automotive preferred)
Experience with structured problem solving methods and techniques.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Ability to lead a team and coordinate the development of individual team member skills and abilities.
Ability to ensure adherence to standard work procedures and company policy.
Ability to provide work references that speak to your work history in a manufacturing operation and success in all aspects of being a supervisor for manufacturing
