Americare Home Health is a skilled home health agency serving clients all over ohio from multiple locations. We have immediate need for home health aides (full time and part time). You must be a high school grad or GED, must be able to pass all background tests and drug test. In addition you must meet at least one of the following:
1. Be listed on the Ohio department of healths Nurse Aide Registry:
2. Successfully complete the Medicare competency evaluation program for home health aides, as a direct care health care worker without a 24 month lapse in employment as a home health aide or nurse aide;
3. Have at least one year employment experience as a supervised home health aide or nurse aide, and have successfully completed written testing and skills testing by return demonstration prior to initiation of service provision;
4. Successfully complete the COALA home health training program, or a certified vocational program in a healthcare field, and successfully complete written testing and skills testing by return demonstration prior to initiation of service provision;
5. Or successfully completed sixty hours of training according to Ohio Personal Care Service rule.
