You will:
Perform a series of operations and duties throughout the Foundry from melting and pouring the liquid metal, to removing the finished casting and grinding & polishing. This includes running machines and using power hand tools.
Work in a team based lean manufacturing environment where safety is our number one priority.
Achieve productivity and performance goals.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Physical demands: carrying, lifting, bending and twisting.
Be able to work in a hot environment in personal protective equipment.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED.
Be able to pass and maintain forklift certification.
Have basic math, reading and writing skills.
Be able to train on 1st shift hours from 5:30am – 2:00pm and then move to 3rd shift hours from 9:00pm – 5:30am. Potential opportunities for other shifts in the future.
