Manufacturing company in the Parkersburg, WV area needs a Payroll Specialist.
Stable company with excellent benefits, employs more than 300 workers. Your experience must include running payroll for a large site, or for multiple sites, for both hourly and salaried workers.
· Manage payroll for a large site, including deductions, garnishments, and reporting.
· Ensure compliance with FLSA regulations, IRS tax guidelines, FMLA regulations.
· Responsible for payroll analysis and reporting monthly headcount, ACA reporting, Affirmative action Plan, and EEO-1/Vets 100. Manage and monitor data integrity.
· Should be knowledgeable about compensation and benefits.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business is preferred.4-7 years’ experience in payroll procedures, reporting, analysis. Must have solid experience with ADP. Advanced knowledge of MS Office tools, including Excel and PowerPoint, is required. Certified Payroll Professional is a plus.
Knowledge of current HR trends, best practices, and payroll related state and federal legal requirements/regulations. Should be able to work independently and in a team. The client prefers experience in a larger-size manufacturing company, where you handle payroll for an employee population of 300 or more. Experience working with ADP Payroll is required. Multistate experience is a plus.
Local candidates are preferred. However, relocation assistance may be available for qualified individuals.
