Responsible for development and oversight of enterprise test automation strategies and functions ensuring the highest quality delivery of systems including; test strategy framework, technical test leadership, standardized test architecture, and associated methodologies and process architecture, test planning for strategic/complex initiatives, test automation strategy, end to end test strategy, and test environment strategy requirements. Primary duties may include, but are not limited to: Plays a leadership role in the design, development, and implementation of automation components. Establishes automation tools, frameworks and methodology. Mentors staff in testing automation processes. Establishes current automation architectures as business and technical conditions change. Supervises the use of appropriate automation methods to employ to assure developed product conforms to requirements and design. Facilitates review of applications for automation needs and requirements/design quality. Provides consultation to projects and application support groups regarding automation design, development and execution. Understands organizational impacts and trade-offs of automation processes. Plays a leadership role in managing resources from alternate development centers.

• Manages the relationship with peer in IT and business for system(s) supported.
• Leads and coordinates all testing within a system area.
• Performs testing when needed.
• Plays a leadership role in the design, development, and implementation of testing components.
• Defines appropriate testing methods to employ to assure developed product conforms to requirements and design.
• Reviews/Approves all project related test assets for completeness and quality.
• Ensures all applicable SDLC and testing processes are followed.
• Manages both onshore and offshore test execution resources for projects under test.
• Accountable for Test Data Management, collection of requirements, evaluation of available data in repositories, ID gaps, and owns test data provisioning tasks.
• Manages communication and relationship across a diverse team of Tester, Developer, and Business in a very fast pace platform/ environment
• This person needs to know how to define and administer standard testing architecture methodologies, processes and tools across the engagement.
  Lead the transformation of testing into a continuous and efficient end-to-end quality engineering function through the use of quality processes, tools, and methodologies significantly improving control, accuracy and integrity.
  Review existing test framework, test processes and drive overall testing approach for the project.
  Analysis and development of automation testing framework, training and supporting manual testers with test scripts preparation

Qualifications

Requires BA/BS in Computer Science or Information Systems; 7+ years of testing automation experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. Quality certification such as CMQ, CQA, CQPA, CQT, CSQE, or CSSBB required within one year of job placement in automation and prior to moving to next level.

Experience leading and coordinating testing teams across multiple applications is required.

Experience leading testing efforts for multiple projects simultaneously is required.

Experience with agile /SAFe methodology is an asset.

Experience with test automation using Selenium BDD/ATDD- 7 years minimum

Experience with automating UI, APIs, web services (XML, SOAP, JSON) and back-end processes

Must be proficient in Selenium, Gherkin, Cucumber, Postman, Jenkins, CICD, Github, Oracle

Experience with Performance test tool - HP Load runner is an asset - 2 years minimum

Experience with JIRA tool is an asset.

Preferred experience in Cloud Environment.

Good Understanding of technologies like Angular, Java 1.8+, Pega, Docker, Kafka, SQL & NoSQL Database technologies in Cloud Environment.

Experience on Database testing including writing queries and database validation;

Experience testing health care insurance products and systems is an asset.
