Data Admin Analyst Sr (PS42297)

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

• Designs/constructs difficult to very difficult repository architectural changes and creates and maintains architectural specification documentation.
• Troubleshoots medium to difficult metadata repository problems with help from others.
• Designs and constructs most difficult metadata reports and conducts metadata quality reviews.
• Conducts implementation, upgrade and maintenance of vendor supplied metadata management, master data management and information quality software and other third party software.
• Collects, clean, catalogs, maintains and delivers master data with minimal guidance and supervision.
• Performs system administration duties with little supervision.
• Performs data profiling analysis and data quality analysis with guidance and supervision.
• Communicates with and mentors junior associates.

Requires BA/BS degree in computer science/information management; 5+ years experience in information systems and 3+ years experience in data administration; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

• Prior experience with enterprise server infrastructure and operating systems (UNIX, RedHat, Oracle, MSSQL, Microsoft Windows) preferred.
• Requires 2+ years of experience with Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) tools and infrastructure, such as Splunk.
• Knowledge of Security Orchestration, Automation and Response (SOAR) activities and tools preferred.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and PowerShell is a plus.
• Familiarity with common security frameworks (NIST, ISO, HIPAA, etc.) desired.
