What You Will Be Doing
1. Performs work accurately and efficiently in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures, Manufacturing Instructions, ISO/TS16949 Procedures and other relevant documents.
2. Meets all quality specifications.
3. Meets internal and external customer delivery schedules and commitments on a consistent basis.
4. Understands and follows all health, safety, environmental regulations/rules at all times.
5. Maintains equipment and work area in a neat and orderly manner at all times.
6. Maximizes equipment run time and material yield.
7. Accurately completes reports, logs and other documentation.
8. Understands and consistently meets company, team, profile and behavioral expectations.
9. Understands and follows Company policies and procedures.
10. Demonstrates proper use and care of hand tools.
11. Performs visual, mechanical and process audits as required.
12. Utilizes statistical methods provided to monitor and control processes/equipment.
13. Understands how to access electronic information, including work instructions and procedures.
14. Participates in team environment and completes assignments for various functions including (but not limited to) EHS and continuous improvement
What You Need for this Position
Skills:
Associate or Bachelors Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering preferred. Will consider work experience.
Programming experience with Pro-Face, Allen-Bradley and Siemens PLC equipment.
Experience with automated equipment, sensors and camera systems.
Possess the ability to read and interpret documents such as technical data, safety procedures, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Proficiency in Windows applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Ability to function independently in a multi-task environment, as well as part of a team. Possess strong communication and planning skills at all levels. Possess a commitment to continuous improvement and safety initiatives.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk and stand. The employee frequently is required to use hand to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls. The employee occasionally required to reach with hand and arms, climb, stoop or kneel.
The employee must regularly lift and or move up to 0-5 pounds, frequently lift and or move up to 5-15 pounds and occasionally lift and move up to 20 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
