$1200 SIGN-ON BONUS (paid incrementally, including an attendance portion) for
Maintenance Technicians!Direct Hire
2nd Shift (3-11pm)
$25+/hr.
Responsible for the safe installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, repairing, relocation and removal of all equipment and facilities mechanical systems based on the highest safety, quality standards and best practices in the industry
Perform preventative maintenance on facility and production machinery.
Troubleshoot, repair and lubricate machines and equipment.
Perform layout, welding and fabrication work.
Install, dismantle, clean, reassemble, and move production machinery.
Perform fluid mechanic repairs (hydraulic and pneumatic).
Read blueprints and schematics to determine repair procedures.
Knowledge of industrial electrical principals and controls.
Demonstrated ability to understand and troubleshoot solid state devices.
Demonstrated ability to reprogram ladder logic and make effective use of software troubleshooting and diagnostics.
Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and repair all major problems with in-house equipment.
Maintain all building mechanicals, utilities and HVAC systems.
Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
High School/GED required.
In-depth knowledge of mechanical drive components including bearings, bushings, seals, gears, and belt/chain drives.
Candidates have 5-10 years of maintenance in a production setting.
Strong working knowledge of machinery, mechanics, plumbing, welding, and fluid mechanics (pneumatic and hydraulic) and electrical control systems
Valid Driver' s License required.
Welding certification a plus.
Proficient with Microsoft office/Windows computer based software.
Self-starter, dependable, flexible and able to work with minimum supervision and guidance.
Technical degree in maintenance, electrical or related field strongly preferred.
Experience in an injection molding operation or plastic extrusion operation preferred.
