Apex Systems is looking for an IT Compliance Analyst in Columbus, Ohio.

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Develop, implement, perform, and maintain NERC CIP operational and planning compliance.
  • Validate report data against approval lists.
  • Generate reports to save as audit evidence.
  • Collaborate with other business units to compile and validate evidence.
  • Ensure that reliability standards strategy, documentation, and associated evidence are aligned and consistent with policy and strategy
  • Collaborate with other Transmission Organizations, Commercial Operations, Generation and Corporate in compliance monitoring and tracking
  • Assist in maintaining systems to track/monitor compliance with the NERC reliability standard
  • Assist in ensuring appropriate processes are in place to track/monitor newly developed standards
  • Review developing standards to enhance the monitoring and tracking of NERC reliability compliance standards and facilitate record keeping of evidence associated with said standards.
  • Assist in ensuring that appropriate evidence is captured to meet compliance requirements.
  • Assist in periodic audits performed by the RROs to assess compliance with the full range of NERC reliability standards; assist in performing internal audits as required.

Requirements
  • Education: Minimum of an Associate's degree
  • Desired experience with reporting (distilling information to present to leadership and external groups in various mediums i.e. PowerPoint, Excel etc).
  • Data analytics experience is a plus.
  • Ability to perform detailed tasks and investigate events.
  • Demonstrate the highest standards of ethical behavior and support the Company's Corporate Compliance policy.
  • Strong skills in communication, issue resolution, organization, and facilitation are essential.
  • Candidate should be motivated and willing to learn a new subject matter.
