Your duties will primarily revolve around building software by writing code, as well as modifying software to troubleshoot errors, adapt it to new hardware, improve its performance, or upgrade interfaces. You will also be involved in directing system testing and validation procedures and working with customers or departments on technical issues including software system design and maintenance. Software Developer Responsibilities:• Modifying software to fix errors, adapt it to new hardware, improve its performance, or upgrade interfaces. • Directing system testing and validation procedures. • Directing software programming and documentation development. • Consulting with departments or customers on project status and proposals. • Working with customers or departments on technical issues including software system design and maintenance. • Analyzing information to recommend and plan the installation of new systems or modifications of an existing system. • Preparing reports on programming project specifications, activities, or status. • Conferring with project managers to obtain information on limitations or capabilities. • Collaborate with team members to determine best practices and client requirements for software • Develop intuitive software that meets and exceeds the needs of the company • Professionally maintain all software and create updates regularly to address customer and company concerns • Analyze and test programs and products before formal launch • Troubleshoot coding problems quickly and efficiently to ensure a productive workplace • Ensure software security by developing programs to actively monitor the sharing of private information • Actively seek ways to improve business software processes and interactions • Aid and support the coaching and training of other team members to ensure all employees are confident in the use of software applications Software Developer Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related degree. (Preferred) • 5-10 years of experience developing and implementing software applications • Creativity is always a plus. • Experience working on large-scale software projects • Outstanding collaboration and communication skills are essential • Well-spoken and customer friendly • Experience developing customized code for multiple projects simultaneously o Languages include C Sharpe, C+, and SQL o Programs include .NETCore, Visual Studio 2019, Inforgistics , DevExpress Controls, Azure (Blob Containers) • Experience in a Maintenance or Facilities environment is a plus • Analyze code for weaknesses and errors (Debug), and present detailed plans to improve them • To be successful in this role, you will need extensive knowledge of programming languages and the software development life cycle.
