Job Description
Location: reporting office based in North Royalton, OH - some travel and site visits required, mileage reimbursed - equipment provided
Duration: initial 22-month contract on Apex's W2 - extension up to 30 months - benefits available, paid weekly
Hours: 8-5 M-F
MUST HAVE:
Three or more years of relevant work experience.
Experience working with outside plant engineering principles and procedures.
Valid drivers license
Strong MS Excel skills
Strong verbal and written skills
Experience with fiber inventory systems (3GIS)
Even better if you have:
A degree in engineering or technical/science/mathematics fields.
Experience with windows-based programs and corporate database systems.
Experience with 3GIS, CoFEE, ICON, NAR, Tableau
Experience with CAD, and MS Excel/MS Access.
JOB DUTIES:
General OSP Engineer duties related to fiber optic networks in aerial, buried, underground and in-building, as well as, maintaining 3GIS fiber records to ensure they are accurate. This will include field audits and record corrections and working with other vendors to physically correct any findings in the field as well as delivering services and results. You will work closely with core engineers to complete high priority projects on schedule.
