Job Requirements::REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering required (electrical or computer preferred).

Formal Training/Certification and documented experience is required in machinery repair, HVAC maintenance, electronics, pneumatics and hydraulics AutoCAD, Solid Works training a plus.

Formal qualified training with a minimum of 3 years’ experience covering all facets of the required duties and responsibilities and using equipment listed.

Knowledge of A.C. and D. C. power and circuits National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA) Standards Blueprint Reading and Plant Layout Electrical, Hydraulic & Pneumatic Schematics Industrial Control Circuits Variable Speed Motor Controls Electric Motors Hydraulic and Pneumatic Equipment Electrical Troubleshooting Basic HVAC Systems Mechanical Drive Systems

Safety (OSHA Compliance), Environmental (EPA) Mathematics Plumbing Fork & Lift Trucks knowledge.

Must have knowledge, experience and capabilities to effectively utilize all machines, testing equipment and tools routinely used by a maintenance technician, plus skills necessary to effectively utilize the following equipment and devices hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical and electronic circuit testing equipment including: Volt-Ohm Meters, Dielectric Strength (Hi-Pot) Testers, Gauges (Pressure, Vacuum, Temperature), PH Meters, Humidity Sensors, Micrometres and Callipers.)

Perform IQs (Installation Qualifications) as required.

Assist management in the development of plant layout sketches from verbal instructions to affect value stream relocation including production equipment with related services locations.

Includes relocations of offices and other building components. Includes the implementation of such arrangements.

Understand tolerance specifications used with machinery/equipment design and servicing which can run in the tenths of thousandths.

Troubleshoots complex electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

Use CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to report maintenance activities.

Verbally keeps the Facilities Manager informed about activities.

Requires a high degree of judgement, initiative and ingenuity to work independently to achieve assigned functions.

Ability to lead and train Maintenance Technicians.

Be on call 24-hours for emergency conditions such as electrical or plumbing failures, fire and/or adverse weather conditions.

Work overtime as required.

Perform other duties as assigned.
