[DBN]The Design Mechanical Engineer position is located at the Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Station in Oak Harbor, Ohio.Responsibilities include:
Preparing modifications and maintaining mechanical calculations up to date.
Assisting in the development of solutions to engineering technical issues in support of plant operation and maintenance
Preparing technical reports and presentations.
Supporting problem identification and resolution using the Corrective Action Program.
Ensuring changes to the design requirements are identified, documented, controlled, evaluated, and approved.
Managing and completing assigned activities to support timely implementation for required plant operations.
Maintaining the plant design and licensing basis complying with industry standards and regulations.
Performing assigned duties as a member of the Emergency Response Organization.
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Mechanical) from an ABET-accredited institution is required.
Previous field/industry experience is desirable.
FE certification or PE license is preferred
ASME/ANSI Code and pipe stress knowledge is preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills.
Reside within site-specific ERO response time.
