What's the job?
Keeping our hotel running smoothly is vital to our guest's experience. As Maintenance Representative you'll keep everything looking sharp and running like clockwork from simple repairs to forward-thinking for the next day. With naturally high standards to support our own, you'll approach every task with dedication and pride. Qualified candidates will be expected to not only follow our brand standards, but also federal, state, and/or local regulatory requirements. Must have drivers license and reliable transportation.
Your typical day-to-day
- Check the chemicals in the pool
- Trash pick-up from property grounds
- Follow a detailed daily preventative maintenance checklist
- Deep Clean and Preventative Maintenance on all guest rooms on a quarterly basis
- Completion of daily maintenance log
- Prompt action as miscellaneous maintenance issues arise
What we need from you
Plumbing: includes the repair, replacement/installation of faucets, pipes, toilets, garbage disposals, etc.
Electrical: includes the repair, replacement or installation of power switches, fuses, wall sockets, ceiling lights,
ceiling fans and HVAC systems.
Drywall repair: includes filling in small holes and scratches due to wear and tear and accidents.
Painting: includes minor touch-ups following damage repair and new coats of paint applied as needed to keep
the hotel looking fresh and clean.
Appliance repair: includes the preventative maintenance, repair, replacement or installation of refrigerators,
microwaves and air conditioners.
Grounds keeping: replacing light bulbs along pathways and parking areas, sweeping or raking leaves and
trash, and tidying up bark or other ground covering.
Cleaning/housekeeping: includes maintaining a tidy appearance in locations such as the hotel lobby, pool and
fitness areas. Also includes cleaning fixtures, floors and other surfaces.
Snow removal: includes shoveling, blowing or plowing snow away from walkways, and laying down rock salt
atop icy surfaces to prevent slipping.
Customer service: includes professional, prompt and courteous correspondence with guests when providing
maintenance services, and with our contracted vendors that provide additional facility services.
Time management: includes maintaining an organized scheduling and tracking system to effectively complete
all maintenance requests in a timely manner and in the order by which they were received or by level of
urgency.
Must have drivers license and reliable transportation.
