A machine shop is offering an immediate, full-time position for a Manual Machinist. This opportunity involves operating and/or setting-up manual lathes, vertical and horizontal mills, honing, surface grinding, ID/OD grinding, drilling, and tapping machines, reading and interpreting blueprints, and using calipers, gauges, and micrometers. Work hours are Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Qualified candidates must have 10 years manual machine set-up and operation experience, must have the ability to read and interpret blueprints, must have experience with calipers, gauges and micrometers, must have own tools, and must be reliable. Only candidates that can pass a background check and a drug screen will be considered. Any candidate that has Prototrak CNC experience is a plus.
