Part time fabrication and assembly
Duraflow Industries, Inc, is a privately owned manufacturer and distributor of air filters. We are looking for a person with a specific set of skills. We offer training for role specific activities which are assumed beyond common knowledge.
-MUST be able to read and understand Measurements in fractions and decimals
-This is a workshop floor position. This is not a desk job. You will be on your feet for the duration of the workday.
-This is a flex role where the person is expected to perform multiple duties and tasks, including being cross trained for other roles.
- Set up machinery
- Manufacture parts with machinery, pneumatic drills, rivet tools, and more.
- Assemble parts
Other Duties as assigned, including performing other team member roles when needed, you will be cross-trained to perform these duties.
Qualifications:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly
required to walk, stand, talk, see, speak and hear.
Has full use of both arms / hands and fine motor control of all digits
Can stand at a work bench for long periods of time while on duty
Communicates effectively with others, including giving and receiving feedback, being kind and courteous to all people encountered on the job.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Demonstrated capability to interface and maintain effective relationships with administration, staff, In a team-oriented environment.
Driven and self motivated to stay on task

Be able to read drawings, and understand measurements in formats of fractions, and decimal.
The employee is required to walk, use their hands and fingers, stand at work benches, machinery, or inspection stations for the duration of the work day. In addition the person will be expected to handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel etc.
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds; or more, and/or with the assistance of another team member.
Specific vision requirements include the ability to see fine detail at close range with or without the aid of glasses
Must have Fine motor control of fingers and hands
· Daily interaction with the owner of the company.
· Clean Manufacturing work environment, heated and air conditioned, no exposure to toxic fumes, chemicals or compounds.
· Non-formal attire, jeans, shorts, t-shirts are acceptable, sleeves are recommended, must wear close-toed shoes
· Monday- Friday 8am start time, average stop time around 2pm
· Job Type: Part time 20-30 hours per week.
·$13.00 per hour
