Nesco Resource has an opening for a HR assistant and Safety Coordinator for our client in Sandusky, OH. The responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to payroll processing, providing clerical suport to employees, and record auditing.
Duties:
- Assist Safety Director with on-site inspections of physical work conditions as well as safe work practices
- Manage records, information and resources for safety management programs
- Execute safety training and OSHA compliance regulations
- Handle current knowledge of company safety policies and federal, state and local laws
- Train and support personnel on safety projects and resources
Qualifcations:
- High School diploma or equivilant preferred
- Basic math skills
- Good organization skills
- Knowledge of verbal and written communcation skills
- Demonstrated ability to understand and follow instruction as directed
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
- Demonstrated ability to work with little minimum supervision
- Able to work in a fast paced environment
- Ability to multi-task
- Flexible to work overtime with little to no notice
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance
