The

IT Business Analyst works directly with operations and support departments to achieve business objectives through integration, development, implementation, and support of IT based solutions. Ensuring optimum use of systems, appropriate levels of training and evolved solutions meet the company's needs with a focus on continued development of integrated solutions. The IT Business Analyst works under the direction of the Information Technology Director.

Job Responsibilities:
Work collaboratively with key stakeholders at all levels in the organization to define scope and objectives of applications that support projects and overall business strategies. Serves as liaison between IT and users with both business and technical acumen. Identify weaknesses in current systems utilization and develop plans to accelerate proper corrections through improved systems, training and documentation. Provide quality control of systems prior to implementation, including internally developed solutions and purchased turnkey solutions. Ensure appropriate system documentation is available to end users, advance training and communication is provided, and follow up activities to measure effectiveness of tools provided. Contributes to team projects, accomplishing related objectives as needed and providing input to the overall objectives. Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal network, and participating in professional societies.

Education, Skills and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology (Preferred)
Five (5) years of related BA experience
OR, equivalent combination of education and experience. Extensive experience with core software applications, including ERP (ideally QAD systems).
Strong knowledge of system and software quality assurance best practices.
Strong project management skills and/or substantial exposure to project-based work structures.
