Position SummaryResponsible for supporting the physician and MLP scheduling and template functions within the practice. Facilitates a team effort, creates a team-like attitude and approach to practice functions and operations. Primary Duties
Coordinate weekend call schedules and distributes.
Coordinate MLP schedules with MLP Coordinator.
Complete and send daily coverage to Call Center.
Track personal day counts for physicians and MLP’s.
Enter changes on the appropriate schedule, template and post. Send change notifications.
Produce and distribute the 'mini' schedules for the various hospitals.
Template for all schedules and schedule changes (physician, MLP, testing, pacer, etc).
Supports special projects as identified by the manager and/or operations director.
Obtain school schedules (for vacation scheduling needs).
Attends all meetings scheduled by management.
All other duties as assigned.
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Requires a minimum of two years of documented experience in a customer service related environment.
Must possess strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively interact with both clinical and clerical staff.
Must demonstrate and promote a strong commitment toward achieving customer/patient satisfaction.
Must be able to move about the practice/department and between workstations.
Must be able to understand directions (written and verbal), communicate and respond to inquires.
Must be able to occasionally lift or carry light equipment or supplies.
Must be able to input and retrieve information from a computer.
