Job Description

This position is part of the IT Business Applications Services Team, typically reporting into an IT Manager or Team Lead. The Sr. IT Solution Analyst will have responsibilities for activities in Supply Chain planning processes areas to ensure an effective and efficient operating environment. This role will work with various other departments within the organization, utilizing their knowledge of our business processes, to ensure the IT systems (SAP ECC ERP) meet all business requirements. Position will further demonstrate solutions to internal clients from C-level to end user with a focus on Supply Chain planning processes. Experience with SAP ECC 6.0 as the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solution is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build strong partnerships with Supply Chain-planning operation functions. Also be able to work cross functionally to evaluate both the impact and needs of other core functions e.g. Finance, Commercial operations and product and master data management team.
  • Align Supply Chain-Planning Processes/Systems to strategic company objectives and needs.
  • Own the design, configuration and technical solution architecture in the areas ofSAP PP and APO.Ability toconduct system design sessions and align to operations processes.
  • Gather business requirements, providing conceptual and detailed designs to meet business needs, performing necessary SAP configurations, writing detail specifications for development of custom programs, testing, co-ordination of transports to production and post go live support
  • Candidate must have experience in designing interfaces between satellite applications and ERP systems. Identify new or improved business process opportunities, and evaluates them for adoption into the ERP environment
  • Identification, analysis, and escalation of Supply Chain-Planning-related constraints, risks and issues
  • Working experience in all facets of end to end Supply chain operations from demand signal to order execution and shipping, including demonstrated experience in complex interface design between SAP and satellite systems.
  • Aligns with formal project managers to plan, execute, test, pilot and rollout solution/platform. Ensure project requirements and completion with respect to constraints and deadlines
  • Leads informal initiatives to ensure quality, on-time, and on-budget delivery.
  • Ensures compliance with standards, processes & best practices as established.

Qualifications

  • 3-4 years experience aligning Supply Chain-Planning processes/systems to company objectives.
  • 3-4 years skilled at identifying new or improved production process opportunities.
  • 3-4 years building strong partnerships with Supply Chain-Planning process owners, shared services, master data team, and key individuals within other organizations.
  • 3-4 years analysis/configuration experience with the core module of SAP ECC 6.0/PP.
  • 3-4 years experience with extended SAP solutions including APO, IBP, EHS, GTS, Ariba, MES / MII, Project Systems and Variant configuration.
  • 3-4 years strong capability of conducting system design sessions and aligning to operations processes.
  • 4-5 years proven advanced skill in gathering requirements, providing conceptual and detailed designs to meet needs, performing necessary configurations, writing detail specifications for development of custom programs, testing, co-ordination of transports to production and post go live support.
  • 4-5 years demonstrated capability meeting initiative/project requirements and completion with respect to constraints and deadlines.
  • Required - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
