Position Summary Responsibilities entail design and development of digital circuits using FPGA’s and CPLD’s to interface with analog signal conditioning electronics, analog-to-digital converters (ADC), digital-to-analog converters (DAC), switching circuits for automated testing, and DC-DC converters to meet power requirements. The individual is responsible for all phases of product development from conceptualization, through design, and production release. Responsibilities Responsible for FPGA/CPLD design cycle – Design, Development, Simulation, Test & Debug, Verification & Validation for Embedded Data acquisitions applications
Perform FPGA/CPLD coding Development in languages like Verilog, VHDL, System Verilog
Responsible for circuit design and simulation, schematic capture, PCB layout, calibration and testing of test instrumentation taking into consideration electrical, mechanical, software, testing, cost, performance, and manufacturing constraints.
Responsible for project management and meeting deadlines
Exceptional ingenuity, creativity, and resourcefulness in digital electronic design.
Work with mechanical, electrical, and PCB layout engineers to create and release all necessary documentation for Manufacturing to build and test the products.
Create and implement test plans and procedures for products based on given requirements. Analyze test results to verify product performance and compliance to requirements.
Support Applications Engineering & Manufacturing to resolve technical related issues
Write Acceptance Test Procedures (ATP) and identify test equipment needed to validate performance.
Support manufacturing to build, test, and troubleshoot products.
