DescriptionOfficeTeam currently has an excellent opportunity for a motivated Sales Representative. If you are a self-starter and want to grow your career, this position could be the perfect fit! This Sales Representative position is a full-time salaried plus bonus potential opportunity.Responsible for all sales activities, from lead generation through close in an assigned medical territory. Implements marketing plan which will meet business goals of expanding our medical customer base and product share in the territory. Works within the sales and support teams for the achievement of customer satisfaction, revenue generation, and long-term account goals in line with company vision and values.Essential Duties: Responsible for the sales of Powerstep medical products in the podiatry, physical therapy, chiropractic, medical practices, and hospital channels. Services existing accounts, obtains orders, and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets making 45-60 phone calls daily. Adjusts content of sales presentations by studying the type of prospect or customer Demonstrates technical selling skills and product knowledge Expands company’s market share by aggressively selling new products and categories into existing and new customers Develops annual business plan in conjunction with Sales Manager, which details activities to follow during the fiscal year, focusing on meeting or exceeding sales quota. Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses. Demonstrates the ability to carry on a business conversation Physicians, medical assistants, and office managers and can accurately convey product features, benefits, and intended uses. Has a good understanding of selling to medical practices, issues important to medical providers Maximizes all opportunities in the process of closing a sale Sells consultatively and makes recommendations to prospects and customers of the various products and programs the company offers to their business. Develops a database of experience in leads through referrals, cold calling on business owners, direct mail, email, and networking. Assisting in the execution of marketing plans of company as required. Maintains accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities including sales calls, presentations, closed sales, and follow-up activities within their assigned territory, including the use of Prophet 21 to maintain accurate records to maximize territory potential. Suggests changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating competitive developments. Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc. Helps resolve customer complaints by investigating problems; making recommendations to management. Maintain detail oriented internal and external relationships that meet company core values. Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes. Interacts and cooperates with all company employees. Proactively establish and maintain effective working team relationships with all support departments.
