Job Details
The ideal candidate for the job of leading the design and release of EV vehicles should have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and at least 7 years of experience in relevant engineering roles. They should have experience in designing powertrain and battery cooling systems and have a strong understanding of heat transfer, fluid mechanics, and thermodynamics. The candidate should be experienced in design, modeling, specification, and component selection for thermal systems, with a preference for automotive HVAC and refrigeration systems. They should have a thorough understanding of automotive powertrain and drivetrain components and systems, with Class 8, heavy-duty truck, and EV experience preferred. The candidate should have strong problem-solving skills and be able to work well in a fast-paced environment. A Master's degree in Mechanical/Thermal Engineering and experience in designing electrified powertrain and related thermal systems would be a plus. No H1B or C2C.
