Responsible for setting up work station in a timely manner and restocking supplies and equipment and reporting repairs as needed. Prepare daily bookwork, accounting for overages/shortages as necessary.

Performs Service Recovery and then refers customer complaints/comments to appropriate supervisor/manager.

Performs cleaning functions and other daily duties in assigned area according to departmental policies and procedures.

Responsible for pushing, pulling, lifting and carrying light to medium weight food items and equipment.

Provide orientation and training for cashiers as necessary.

Will be cross-trained and scheduled in other department cost centers as needed.

Controls use of food, supplies and equipment but does not order same.

Responsible for compliance with Organizational Integrity through raising questions and promptly reporting actual or potential wrongdoing.

All other duties as assigned.

  • Position Summary The Production Vacation Relief Worker serves our internal and external customers by being trained to perform the job duties of all non-exempt positions within the production team and also to provide coverage for these positions during absences. Essential Functions Operates all machines on production lines (e.g. fillers, palletizer, depalletizer) according to established company standards; ensures that the correct materials (e.g. bottles, cans, caps, lids) and finished goods are run through equipment according to product being produced and that quality of raw materials and finished products meets established company standards; performs raw material and equipment changeovers. Performs code checks, taste tests and other quality tests; calculates efficiencies. Completes code check reports, taste test reports, production reports, time off requests and other required paperwork according to established standards. Works assigned schedule, exhibits regular and predictable attendance and works overtime as needed to meet workload demands. Performs other related duties as required. Performs minor adjustments and maintenance to machine to ensure it is operating according to established standards. Education Level High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) required Experience Require additional experience in 1 -3 years previous production and forklift experience; previous food/beverage production experience strongly preferred. Additional Requirements Knowledge of: beverage production process; beverage industry. Skill in: internal customer service. Ability to: work quickly, efficiently and independently; multi-task; communicate effectively with other employees and develop good working relationships; adapt to change; read and write; perform basic math functions (e.g. addition and subtraction); be trained on operating a computer, forklift, filler machine, palletizer, depalletizer, case packer, labeler, coder and other mechanical equipment.
