Credence Management Solutions, LLC, is hiring a Data Transfer Specialist who will be primarily responsible for supporting AFLCMC/XA at WPAFB, OH.
Responsibilities
Become familiar with license agreements of software used in AFLCMC/XA.
Coordinate with the AFLCMC/XA software requirements POC and (as necessary) the Base Software License Manager on all software acquisitions.
Limit numbers of licenses required through cloud based hosting.
Consolidate Software procurement activities to limit contract actions required.
Forecast future fiscal year funding requirements to maintain existing license renewal and any known new procurements.
Develop and present memoranda, briefings, etc. to senior management.
Understand license agreements prior to releasing software.
Identify software that does not have associated licenses, assemble proofs of purchase, and request replacement licenses from publishers, as needed.
Support multiple programs administering the Information Assurance Data Transfer Agent (DTA) duties for information systems processing National Security Information.
Perform security-relevant function in providing endpoint security during transfers.
Responsible for ensuring the files are reviewed and sanitized of all program-related data.
Ensure all government mandated requirements associated with data transfers are implemented and functional.
Assist the ISSMs with approved data transfer process and two-person integrity (TPI) policy execution for your areas of responsibilities.
Conduct associated task(s) as prescribed by the Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM).
Select, transfer and load items from one security or network domain to another security or network domain.
Document transfer and perform quality assurance for all items transferred.
Ensure appropriate records of data and information transferred are created and maintained.
Provide weekly status to management detailing activities and accomplishments.
Serve as a final human reviewer of items to be released to the network/media.
Capture, maintain and accumulate statistics that show quantities and timelines for products and data transferred.
Serve as Data Transfer Officer performing removable media and cross domain transfers of files to include custody transfers of burned media to customers.
Perform virus scans on incoming media and place files on destination networks when required.
Maintain knowledge of Cross Domain Solutions, regulations, and policies.
Submit and Respond to tickets on enterprise network for request.
Perform daily checks of website accessibility and email connectivity to determine the status of systems and services.
Maintain documentation and continuity books for the tasks and procedures.
Provide advisory and assistance service support to network users.
Qualifications
Clearance: Top Secret/SCI
MA/MS degree and ten (10) years of relevant experience or
BA/BS degree and twelve (12) years of relevant experience or
Associates degree and four (4) years of relevant experience or
