The Insulation Technician will be weatherizing homes for utility programs and weatherization agencies to reduce consumer energy bills.
-Installation of energy savings measures including attic insulation (batts and blown), caulking, sealing, lighting, thermostats, CO detectors, and weather stripping
-Perform minor and incidental structural repairs to include windows, and doors
-Assist with loading and unloading work trucks
-Assist with keeping the job site tidy, organized and safe
-Assist with customer site job set up and tear down
-Assist with restocking inventory in work trucks
-Ability to read job scope and identify additional work opportunities
High School Diploma or equivalent High School Diploma
Prior experience in the residential construction industry, with emphasis on framing and insulation is preferred but not required
Plumbing and/or electrical experience is a plus, but not required
Candidates must be capable of working outdoors on ladders and with drills and hand tool
