Machine Assembler

Qualified candidates will be responsible for the mechanical assembly of machines by interpreting blue prints and production drawings provided by the Mechanical Engineering Department.
Minimum Requirements
High School Diploma / Industrial Trade Certification
3+ years of experience building mechanical assemblies for production machinery
Must possess own hand tools and tool box
Proven mechanical aptitude using a variety of hand tools and shop equipment
Working knowledge of industry standards for mechanical assembly
Skills Needed
Strong shop math skills
Proficient in interpreting blue prints, mechanical assembly and engineering drawings
Proficient in reading and interpreting hydraulic and pneumatic schematic drawings
Previous experience using cranes, lifts and forklifts desired
Strong shop math and measurement skills
Self-starter who can work independently
Work collaboratively with team members and use deductive reasoning for problem solving
